INFO DAY DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF BERAT IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SMART TOUR PROJECT

In the framework of the implementation of the project SMART TRAVEL ON CULTURAL ROUTES (SMART TOUR), on 03.02.2022, the Public Information Day (Info Day) was held in the city of Berat. The purpose of the activity was to present the project and involve stakeholders to discuss the potential that will be piloted for the implementation of the project (turning the facility into Virtual Reality).

The meeting was attended by over 20 participants, who represented various target groups such as tour operators, travel agencies, artisans, local tour guides, civil society, students, etc. At the end of the meeting it was proposed to select the Ethnographic Museum, as an object of the First Category of Cultural Monuments, which carries important values ​​of cultural heritage.

At the end of the activity, the working group organized a visit to the Ethnographic Museum, where they met with the director of the institution, Mr. Agron Polivani, for the further progress of the project implementation.
